Ktima Spyropoulos
Intro
Ktima Spyropoulos operates in Ancient Mantineia, on the plateau of Arcadia (PDO Mantineia), at an altitude of 620–655 meters. The family has been cultivating vineyards in the area since 1860. The first modern winery was established between 1991–1994, while a second one was founded in Nemea in 2007, featuring sustainable architecture and gravity-flow winemaking.

Among the first producers of organic wines in Greece (1994). The new generation, led by Konstantina Spyropoulou, has renewed the identity and design.
Vineyards
- Over 550 stremmas of organic vineyards in Mantineia and Nemea, certified since 1994. - Alkaline clay-loam soils, with low yields for intense aromatic purity. - All production phases are controlled with strict standards, emphasizing biodiversity. Varieties: - Greek: Moschofilero (white & sparkling, emblematic variety of Mantineia), Agiorgitiko. - International: Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay. Main Labels: - Mantinia PDO – 100% Moschofilero, organic (~73,000 bottles). - Porfyros – blend of Agiorgitiko, Merlot, Cabernet, Syrah (14 months in barrel, ~12,000 bottles). - Oreades / Oreino (Red & White), Meliasto – creative blends with an emphasis on Moschofilero.
Tourism
- The Mantineia winery is open to visitors Tuesday–Saturday, 09:00–15:00, by appointment. - Includes a tour of the vineyards, cellar, and tasting room. - Tasting of 5 wines with local delicacies (~€12.5/person). - Shop with direct bottle purchases and catering options.
