Estate
Kounaki Wines is located in the traditional village of Embonas in Rhodes, at an altitude with an ideal microclimate for viticulture. Founded in 1928, it continues to this day with family dedication, showcasing the island's indigenous and international varieties.
Vineyards
50 stremmas of organic vineyards, with half being self-rooted. Collaborations with producers for approximately 30 additional stremmas. Emphasis on organic cultivation and quality raw materials. More than 10 select labels in white, rosé, red, and sweet wines.
Tourism
The winery offers four tasting packages: - Friend of Wine: 6 wines + 1 label of choice (€6) - Protected Designation: Special labels (e.g., old vintage Athiri, Amoriano, StoryTeller) (€12) - The Wine Explorers: Richer tasting with more labels (€15) - The Wine Enthusiasts: Full tasting ~12 varieties + 1 label of choice (€20) Optional olive oil and honey tastings are included.
