Intro
Tripodakis Winery – Rich Tradition & Modern Choices
Estate
The Tripodakis family has a winemaking tradition since 1907 in Korfalona, Kissamos (Crete), using traditional fermentation methods and wooden barrels. In 1935, the business was awarded a Silver Medal at the Thessaloniki International Fair. Since the 1960s, the family expanded into other areas such as vinegars, spirits, and natural sweeteners, creating a broader flavor portfolio. Today, the Tripodakis Group has facilities in Kissamos, Elefsina, Attica, and Thebes. The business was honored with the Authentic Taste of Greece – Gold Award 2021.
Vineyards
The range of Tripodakis Winery includes white, red, rosé, naturally sweet wines, as well as spirits and tsipouro. Indicative labels: Alliotiko White – Malagouzia & Assyrtiko, dry white. Alliotiko Agiorgitiko – red, PDO Corinthia. Magic Vineyard – series with white, red, rosé, and semi-sweet. Zorbas – available in white, rosé, red, with semi-sweet options. A characteristic example: Tripodakis Red Wine (1.5 L) – velvety, full-bodied, with aromas of red fruits and spices.
Tourism
Although the main activity is commercial and production-oriented, the tradition, wide range of products, and modern facilities make the company an important part of Greek winemaking and gastronomic culture.
