Lalikos Mountain Vineyards
Intro
Lalikos Winery is a family-owned establishment founded shortly before 2005 by Konstantinos Lalikos. The vineyards are located on the slopes of Mount Pangaio, at one of the highest points in the area, at an altitude of 750 meters, providing a cool microclimate and high-quality vines.
Vineyards
The cultivation focuses on French varieties, which ideally respond to the mountainous terroir: White: Viognier, Gewurztraminer, Muscat Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc Red: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Grenache Rouge, Syrah, Tannat Notable Labels: - Joker (white) – aromatic, with balsamic aromas, notes of Turkish delight, rose, pineapple, lychee, and mango; full-bodied with finesse and balanced sweetness. - Gewurztraminer 2022 – dry wine with characteristic aromas of the variety and aging potential. - Sauvignon Blanc 2024 – with vegetal and mineral elements, oily texture, and elegant freshness. - The Red 2019 – blend of Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot, aged for 12 months in French barrels, intensely fruity with subtle herbaceousness.
