Oinoforos Winery
Intro
Oinoforos Winery is located in the Industrial Zone of Outza, in Kara Tepe near Mytilene. Wine production began in 2009, and in 2020 the winery was certified by the Greek National Tourism Organization as a visitor-friendly site. Today, it serves as a multifaceted center combining winemaking with the cultural and social life of the island, hosting tastings, exhibitions, seminars, conferences, concerts, and social events such as weddings and baptisms in its elegant spaces (Golden Hall, Silver Hall, Glass Hall) with panoramic views of the Castle and the sea.

Vineyards
The vineyards are located in Kariona and Megalochori, Lesvos, cultivating local varieties closely linked to the island's wine identity: White: Assyrtiko, Athiri Red: Mandilaria, Fokiano, Vapsa. Winemaking follows modern techniques, respecting tradition and aiming to highlight the Lesvian terroir. The winery has created four main series with a strong identity: Daphnis & Chloe (white & red) – organically certified wines from local varieties (Kalloniatiko, Assyrtiko, Fokiano in white; Mandilaria, Vapsa, Fokiano in red). Makara – a rich red, based on Fokiano and Kalloniatiko, with aromatic depth and a generous character. Dolce Kleopatra – a slightly sweet red from local varieties, expressing the sweetness of the island character. Rose’ Kleopatra – a refreshing dry rosé with a fruity and authentic identity.
