Petra Marinou Winery – Ktima Marinou (Kos)
Intro
Ktima Marinou is located in Linopoti, Kos, along the provincial road Kos–Kefalos, in an area with a long-standing viticultural tradition. It was established in 2015 by the Marinou family with the aim of reviving the local wine heritage, combining organic cultivation, respect for the environment, and modern winemaking techniques.
Vineyards
The vineyards are cultivated using organic practices, with low yield per stremma and an emphasis on vine health without excessive use of plant protection products. Chardonnay – 100% single-varietal, dry white. Fermentation with cold extraction and 3 months aging in new oak barrels. Characterized by honey and tropical aromas with a vanilla background. Assyrtiko – Sauvignon Blanc – fresh white blend with aromas of pear, citrus, mango. Fermentation at a controlled temperature of 16–18 °C for maximum aromatic intensity.
Tourism
The winery is open to visitors daily (Monday–Saturday 09:00–21:00, closed on Sunday), though appointment booking is recommended. It has an active digital presence (website & Instagram), through which you can book online wine tastings and visits, making it particularly accessible to wine tourists.
