Saint Anna Winery
Intro
It offers an authentic experience of Naxos, where visitors personally meet the producer and hear the story of the place. The visit is characterized as hospitable, high-quality, and "genuine."
Estate
Saint Anna Winery is located in the settlement of Kato Potamia in Naxos, at an altitude of ~95 meters above sea level and just 7.5 km from Chora. It was founded in 2016 by Emmanuel (Manolis) Petrakis, a graduate of the American Farm School and the Agricultural University. The name is derived from the chapel of Saint Anna located on the premises.
Vineyards
Petrakis essentially works alone, taking care of cultivation, harvest, winemaking, and distribution. Grapes come from various vineyards in Naxos and the Cyclades. The approach is manual, with an emphasis on sustainability and highlighting the terroir. The winery produces white, rosé, red, dry, and sweet labels from indigenous varieties (Fokiano, Mandilaria, Monemvasia, Savatiano).
Tourism
The tastings include up to 8–9 different wines, paired with local products.
