Lambrakis Family Winery
Intro
The Lambrakis Family Winery is a model production unit in Central Tzoumerka and is the first winery established in the Regional Unit of Arta. It is located in a privileged location in the settlement of Kounies in Ramia, offering panoramic views of the Tzoumerka peaks.
Estate
The winery was established in 2009 by Panos Lambrakis and his wife Dimitra Sakka, next to the family's ancestral home. It is housed in a tasteful stone building constructed with personal effort and passion, reflecting the tradition of the area.
Vineyards
The family started with a small vineyard of 10 stremmas, which has now expanded to 40 stremmas, planted helically on the slopes of Tzoumerka. The cultivated varieties include white: Debina, Malagouzia, Asproudi, Mavroudi, and Moschoudi, and red: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Agiorgitiko, Muscat of Hamburg, and the local variety Zambela. Approximately 80% of the production is available in casks, while the remainder is bottled.
