Gikas Winery
Intro
Gikas Winery is a family-owned winery with roots dating back to 1875, when the Gikas family tended the vineyards of the Skouze and Kambas families. It was established in its current form in the 1990s in Spata, Attica, near Kithaironas. With vineyards at different altitudes and an emphasis on terroir, the estate combines tradition with modern expertise.

Vineyards
The vineyard covers 150,000 sq.m. on the slopes of Kithaironas (350–450 m), as well as 6 stremmas in a lower zone. Greek varieties such as Assyrtiko, Malagouzia, Savvatiano, and Vradianos are cultivated, along with international ones like Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Grenache Rouge. The most innovative label is Pine Forest, an Assyrtiko with a pine resin aroma.
Tourism
The winery is equipped with modern facilities, tanks, a cellar, and a laboratory, and is open to visitors for tours, tastings, and experiential programs such as creating personal wine.
