Intro
Ktima Biblia Chora was established in 1998 by oenologists Vangelis Gerovassiliou and Vassilis Tsolakoudis on the slopes of Mount Pangaio, near Kokkinohori, Kavala. The choice of location was not accidental, as the area boasts a long-standing viticultural tradition and a unique terroir that combines limestone and sandy soils at an altitude of 380 meters. Today, the estate spans approximately 480 stremmas of privately owned vineyards and is a reference point for modern Greek winemaking.

Vineyards
In the vineyards, both Greek and international varieties are cultivated with respect for the environment and sustainable practices: Sauvignon Blanc, Assyrtiko, Chardonnay, Semillon, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and Agiorgitiko. The low yields per stremma ensure the high quality and expressiveness of the wines. The winery is equipped with modern facilities and microvinification capabilities for precise control of each variety and vineyard plot. The estate's philosophy focuses on producing wines that combine varietal typicity, local character, and longevity. Iconic Labels: Biblia Chora White – Sauvignon Blanc & Assyrtiko, fresh, fruity, and aromatic. Biblia Chora Red – Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot, with a rich body and balance. Ovilos White – Assyrtiko & Semillon, with barrel-aged complexity and structure. Ovilos Red – Cabernet Sauvignon & Agiorgitiko, barrel-aged, with power and depth. Planatos – single-variety Syrah, intensely aromatic and spicy. Semeio Stixis – a series exploring new techniques and experiments.

The estate welcomes visits by appointment, offering tours of the vineyards, guided tours of the production facilities, and wine tastings in a landscape of unique natural beauty.
