Kostaki Winery
Intro
Kostaki Winery is the newest and one of the most promising arrivals on the winemaking scene of Samos, based in Kontaika (Megali Lakka area) near Karlovasi.
Estate
Founded in 2023 by Evmorfia Kostaki, a chemist-oenologist and Master of Wine candidate, and her partner Lorenz Immerfall. The estate's history is closely linked to the Kostaki family, who have been cultivating vines on the island for generations. The year 2023 marked the transition to a new era with the creation of a model, modern winery aiming to redefine the identity of Muscat.
Vineyards
The estate's privately owned vineyards, covering approximately 32 stremmas, are located in western Samos and were the first on the island to receive organic certification (since 2000). The vines are dry-farmed and trained as bush vines. Production is exclusively based on the island's emblematic variety, Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains, which the winery cultivates in both its white and rare black versions.
Tourism
Kostaki Winery is open to the public by appointment, offering an experience that combines high aesthetics with authentic hospitality. Visitors have the opportunity to taste the estate's labels — such as "Dry," "Alo," or the sparkling "Ancestral Method" — in the specially designed tasting area.
