Ktima Skouras
Intro
Ktima Skouras was founded in 1986 by Giorgos Skouras, an oenologist trained in Burgundy. The first and iconic label, Megas Oenos (Agiorgitiko & Cabernet Sauvignon), became a reference point in Greek winemaking.
Estate
Initially operated in Pyrgela and then in Gymno (PDO Nemea), before settling in 2004 in Malandreni, Argolida, in state-of-the-art facilities. In 2024, a new winery was established in Mantineia, focusing on Moschofilero. Annual production: ~850,000 bottles. Exports: 50% to over 25 countries. Turnover 2023: ~€8 million (from €4.7 million in 2018). Investments: ~€3 million in infrastructure & equipment.
Vineyards
The vineyards are spread across various zones of the Peloponnese (Corinthia, Argolida, Arcadia, Achaia) with altitudes from 60 m to 1,040 m (Grande Cuvée Nemea).
