Rira Vineyards
Intro
The vineyards are located in the Rira area, near Aigio, Achaia, at an altitude of approximately 400 meters, above the villages of Longos and Selianitika. The location offers a panoramic 360° view of the sea and the interior, making it a unique spot for cultivation and winemaking.
Estate
Planting began in 2007 by Panagiotis Tsitsas, with the first harvest taking place in 2010.
Vineyards
The vineyard cultivates 15 Greek and international varieties. Greek: Assyrtiko, Malagousia, Agiorgitiko, Mavrodaphne. International: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Gewürztraminer, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Grenache Rouge & Blanc. The estate's philosophy focuses on showcasing the Greek vineyard, with wines that combine character, quality, and accessibility. The portfolio includes both single-varietal wines and blends. Labels: Aigialos White & Red, Bond White & Red, Concert, 2 Roses.
Tourism
The winery is open to visitors by appointment, offering wine tastings at the specially designed spot known as the 'eagle's nest,' with breathtaking views.
