Vervainioti Winery
Intro
The winery is located in the heart of the PDO Mantineia, in Tripoli, with vineyards in areas such as Kapsia and Fteri. The cultivation extends over approximately 30 stremmas, at an altitude of 600–800 meters, ideal for the Moschofilero variety. The family's philosophy is based on respect for the terroir and the preservation of local identity.
Estate
The winery is the result of the collaboration between two families — Vervainioti and Lymberopoulou — with three generations of experience in Mantineia. Today, the new generation continues dynamically, with Betty Vervainioti, an oenologist with studies and experience in France, Germany, and Japan, bringing new life to the production.
Vineyards
The vineyards are cultivated using the traditional 'goblet' training system with low yields (up to 800 kg/stremma), ensuring quality raw material. The main variety is Moschofilero, while in collaboration with other producers, international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah are also vinified.
