Konstantara Winery
Intro
The Konstantara Estate is located in Nea Moudania (Portaria), Halkidiki, at an altitude of approximately 430 meters, an area with particularly favorable conditions for viticulture. Thanks to the terroir, the vineyards require minimal or no irrigation, resulting in grapes of high concentration and intensity.
Vineyards
Production is based exclusively on organic, privately-owned vineyards with a total area of approximately 250 stremmas. The estate's philosophy focuses on sustainable winemaking with respect for the environment and the ability to express the varieties without chemical interventions. Malagouzia is the flagship variety, having been awarded as the “Best Single-Variety Malagouzia” at the Thessaloniki Wine & Spirits Trophy. The range of wines includes single-variety organic versions in different styles: Malagouzia: a white wine with intense aromatics and freshness, one of the winery's most well-known labels. Rosé 2024 Bio (Cabernet Sauvignon): vegan, without added sulfites, modern and environmentally friendly. Additionally, other single-variety options are produced in white, red, and rosé, offering a wide range of styles and price categories.
Tourism
There is no available information on organized wine tourism (tours or tastings). However, the international presence on platforms such as Vivino and in networks of organic wines abroad has significantly enhanced the winery's recognition.
