Central Macedonia

Central Macedonia is among Greece’s most dynamic viticultural hubs, with vineyards stretching from the slopes of Vermio and Paiko to Halkidiki. The climate is mainly continental with Mediterranean influence near the sea, while varied elevations and soils create a wide range of microclimates. The region includes major zones such as PDO Naoussa, PDO Goumenissa, and PDO Slopes of Meliton, as well as PGI Macedonia and PGI Halkidiki, reflecting its diversity.
