Dourakis Winery is located in the village of Alikambos, near Apokoronas, Chania, in a traditional Cretan environment. It was founded in 1986 by Andreas Dourakis and has evolved into one of the most renowned family wineries in Crete.

Vineyards
The vineyards are scattered throughout the wider area, on sloping and rocky soils situated between the sea and the slopes of the White Mountains. The winery employs organic and regenerative farming practices. The main cultivated varieties are Vidiano, Vilana, Moschato Spinas, Malvasia, and Kotsifali. Notable labels include: Monoceros – single-variety Grenache Rouge, Faros – semi-sweet rosé, Cassiopeia – sparkling dry from Romeiko, Zilos (Bio) – Malvasia Aromatica.
Tourism
The winery offers organized tastings year-round, with options for tours, dining, events, and special tasting packages in the courtyard or hall. It is open from April to October daily, by appointment.
