Ktima Opsimos
Intro
Ktima Opsimos is located in Gymno Nemea, towards Argolida, overlooking Mount Farmakas and Megalovouni. The family has been active in the wine industry for about two decades, with modern facilities integrated into the PDO zone of Nemea.
Vineyards
The cultivation is certified organic, respecting the environment and the local terroir. Varieties: Agiorgitiko (main), Assyrtiko, Sauvignon Blanc. Soil and altitude differentiation offers complexity to the wines. The facilities include state-of-the-art winemaking areas, a cellar, and a tasting room with panoramic views. A significant label is Opsimos Nemea, 100% Agiorgitiko, organically cultivated. Aromas: red fruits (raspberry, plum), leather, herbs. Body: medium acidity, balanced structure, aging potential of 10–15 years. On Vivino (vintage 2021) it has a 4.2/5 rating, with tasting notes of chocolate, vanilla, flowers, and ripe fruits.
Tourism
The winery is set in a picturesque and quiet environment, offering tours of the vineyards, visits to the cellar, and a warm welcome from Panagiotis Opsimos himself. It participates in the Great Days of Nemea, enhancing its presence on the wine tourism map of the region.
