Athanasiou Winery – Organic Tradition in the Heart of Nemea

Athanasiou Winery is located in Nemea, Corinthia (Dervenion 147), within the historic PDO Nemea. The family has been cultivating vineyards since 1855, when the great-grandfather planted just 0.5 hectares of Agiorgitiko. The modern winery was established in 2007, continuing the long-standing tradition.
Vineyards
Organic cultivation is applied, aiming to preserve the authenticity of the terroir. The main focus is on Agiorgitiko, while other Greek varieties such as Assyrtiko and Moschofilero are also cultivated. Some of the most characteristic labels: Assyrtiko 2024, Thronos Nemea 2024, Principessa Rosa 2024, Thronos – Land of Light 2021, Fleur d’amour Brut.
Tourism
There is no clear information about permanent visitor facilities or tastings, but the winery has an active presence and distribution through online sales and partners.
