Intro
Ktima Papaioannou is a pioneering presence in the organic and quality winemaking of the region. Thanasis Papaioannou, often referred to as the 'guru of Agiorgitiko,' led the upgrade of Nemea wines in the 1980s.

Ktima Papaioannou is located in Ancient Nemea, Corinthia. Thanasis Papaioannou and his son, Giorgos Papaioannou, continue the family's vision. The winery and Thanasis Papaioannou have been honored with significant international awards, such as a gold medal for Petit Verdot in Vienna (2011) and Cava Papaioannou in Berlin (2013), as well as the award for Best Greek Organic Producer in Berlin (2013).
Vineyards
The estate has approximately 570 stremmas of privately owned vineyards, distributed across different microzones with varying altitudes and microclimates. All vineyards are cultivated using organic practices. Varieties include Agiorgitiko, Assyrtiko, Malagouzia, Roditis, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Roussanne, Touriga Nacional. Labels include Ktima Papaioannou, Agiorgitiko Nemea, Cabernet Sauvignon, Fumé Chardonnay, and series from Petit Verdot, Syrah, Touriga.
Tourism
