Ktima Foundi
Intro
Ktima Foundi is a family-owned winery located in Nea Strantza, just 4 km outside Naoussa, in the heart of one of the most important viticultural zones of Imathia.
Estate
Founded in 1992, the complete winery was finished in 1998, with a capacity of 200,000 bottles. The Foundi family has roots in Thrace, and the tradition is continued today by Nikos Foundi's daughters, Georgia and Eleni.
Vineyards
The estate has approximately 40 stremmas of vineyards, with Xinomavro as the main variety. Smaller quantities of Merlot and Aromatica Malvazia are also cultivated. The soils are clay-sandy. The production includes 7 different labels (3 red, 3 white, 1 rosé), with 90% based on Xinomavro.
Tourism
The winery is equipped with modern facilities and has a reception area for visitors. It operates daily, 09:00–14:00 and 17:00–20:00, offering tours and tastings.
