Anatolikos Vineyard
Intro
Anatolikos Vineyard is located in Avdira, Xanthi, approximately 3 km from the Thracian Sea, on hills with an elevation of 50–70 meters featuring arid, rocky soils. The area's microclimate is characterized by a sea breeze, strong winds, and a significant day-night temperature variation (13–15 °C), elements that impart a unique personality to the wines.
Estate
The revival of local viticulture began in 2000, while the winery was officially established in 2005 by the Nikolaidis family. The winery has gained international recognition, exemplified by the Merlot Rosé (2012) which won a Silver medal at the Berlin Wine Trophy.
Vineyards
The estate is cultivated entirely organically and certified, without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides. The vineyards grow both local varieties (Mavroudi, Limnio, Pamidi, Moschato) and international ones (Assyrtiko, Malagouzia, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon). The production includes a range of organic and natural wines. Some notable labels: Fine Assyrtiko BIO, Natural Orange Wine, MV Red BIO 2021.
