KontoVraki Estate
Intro
The estate is situated on a slope in the Komini/Vresteza area of Kranidi (Argolida), with vineyards covering approximately 100 stremmas at an altitude of 250–300 meters. The orientation is northeast, and the gravelly soil ensures good drainage and root aeration, providing ideal conditions for producing quality grapes.
Estate
The Kontovraki family continues a long-standing tradition in winemaking. Today, the winery is operated by Yiannis Kontovrakis and his niece Nadia Kotsaki, who have modernized both the cultivation and facilities while maintaining the character and values of their grandparents.
Vineyards
The winery is the sole cultivator of the Rokaniaris variety, which is rare and nearly extinct in Greece. Additionally, other Greek and international varieties are cultivated, such as: Sklavos, Roditis, Savvatiano, Xinomavro, Agiorgitiko, Cabernet Sauvignon. Production takes place in modern facilities located next to the vineyards. The combination of traditional care and technology ensures quality, with Giorgos Anagnostopoulos as the responsible oenologist.
