Koroniotis Winery
Intro
Koroniotis Winery is located in Panorama Argos, between the PDO zones of Nemea and Mantineia. It was founded in 1999 by Kyriakos Koroniotis, with the aim of creating wines that authentically express the local terroir. The winery focuses on producing single-varietal wines with balance, clarity, and complexity.
Estate
Koroniotis Winery was founded in 1999 by Kyriakos Koroniotis, a chemical engineer with studies in England and the Netherlands. It is located in Panorama Argos, near historical monuments such as Mycenae, Nafplio, and Epidaurus.
Vineyards
The family manages two privately-owned vineyards: 20 stremmas in Mycenae with Assyrtiko as the main variety and 25 stremmas in Panorama Argos dedicated to Malvasia Aromatica. They collaborate with vine growers from Nemea and Mantineia. The aging of red wines is done in French oak barrels. Wines: Malvasia Aromatica, 1300 BC Assyrtiko, Filion Moschofilero, Roz Reve, Nemea (Agiorgitiko), Argus (Syrah), Merlot “Eminent Front”.
Tourism
The winery features modern facilities, an underground cellar, and a tasting room. It is open to visitors daily with guided tours available by Kyriakos Koroniotis. Visitors can tour the vineyards and participate in organized tastings. Operating hours: Monday–Friday: 09:00–15:00, Saturday: 10:30–15:00. Prior arrangement is required for tastings.
