Ktima Kelesidi
Intro
In Giannakochori, just 7 km from Naoussa and at the foothills of Mount Vermio, lies Ktima Kelesidi, in the heart of the PDO Xinomavro zone.
Estate
The Kelesidi family, with roots from Pontus, founded the winery in 1998. The estate also has an international presence, with exports to Australia, Switzerland, and Belgium.
Vineyards
The estate has approximately 45 stremmas of organically certified vineyards since 1997–1998. Mainly cultivated is the Xinomavro of Naoussa, but also other varieties such as Malagouzia, Merlot, and Syrah (PGI Imathia). Notable labels of the estate: Merhali — single-variety Xinomavro PDO Naoussa, Arothymies — blend of Xinomavro, Merlot, Syrah, Evodeas White — from Xinomavro & Malagouzia, Naoussa 2018 — combines traditional character (tomato) with modern fullness, suitable for long aging.
Tourism
The traditional stone family home has been transformed into a welcoming winery with a warm and family atmosphere. In addition to winemaking, there is also a distillery for the production of tsipouro and aged grappa, offering an authentic hospitality experience.
