Matamis Winery
Intro
Matamis Winery was founded in 2007 with the aim of showcasing the quality and potential of Greek varieties on a global scale. It is managed by Apostolos Matamis, an oenologist-viticulturist with studies in Burgundy, along with his sons Stelios and Yiannis. The family brings scientific expertise and emphasizes the production of fine, terroir-oriented wines.
Estate
Matamis Winery was founded in 2007. It is located in Epanomi, Thessaloniki (14th km Thessaloniki–Polygyros). It is managed by Apostolos Matamis and his sons Stelios and Yiannis. It has international appeal and recognition with a Vivino rating of ~3.7–3.9/5.
Vineyards
The vineyards are cultivated with Greek varieties and with respect for the local terroir. Varieties include Moschato, Assyrtiko, Malagouzia, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah. Wine series include Moschato Bubbly, Rosé Bubbly, Charilys Spumante Brut, Brut White (Assyrtiko), Apoktima White (Sauvignon Blanc), Apoktima Red (Syrah).
