Intro
The winery is located at the 13th km of the Heraklion–Moires National Road, in Stavrakiani Kamara, in the valley of the Giofyros River. It is a modern facility created with the aim of not only producing exceptional Cretan wines but also promoting them through visits and tastings.
Estate
The Giofyros Valley, where it is located, has historical and mythological significance — according to tradition, the goddess Athena was born there.
Vineyards
The winery's philosophy is based on highlighting the Mediterranean terroir of Crete, utilizing both indigenous and international varieties. Labels: 8th Art Red (Kotsifali & Syrah, vintage 2021, dry red with a rich body and forest fruit aromas; 6-month barrel aging), Symphoni-A Red Semi-Sweet (from Syrah, vintage 2020, with notes of berries, vanilla, and nuts; aged 6 months in barrel), White Labels (such as 8th Art White, Sohoro White, and Symphoni-A White, from Chardonnay, Vidiano, and other varieties, with a dry character and balanced freshness).
Tourism
The winery is open to visitors, offering tastings and tours in welcoming, modern spaces. The experience aims to showcase Cretan wine and local wine culture.
