Zoinos Winery
Intro
Zoinos Winery is located in Rodotopi, Zitsa, in the heart of the mountainous wine-growing region of Epirus, known for its unique microclimate.
Estate
Its history begins in 1974 with the founding of the Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Ioannina, and since 2006 it has operated in its current form as a modern winery focused on quality and sustainability.
Vineyards
The winery owns approximately 130 stremmas of organic vineyards and collaborates with member-producers in the area. The vineyards are cultivated on limestone soils at an altitude of about 700 meters, with a northwestern slope and maritime influence from the Ionian Sea. Zoinos focuses mainly on local, rare varieties: Debina, Vlachiko, Bekari. Winemaking is based on indigenous yeasts and minimal intervention.
