Vineyards
The vineyards cover approximately 4.5 hectares, distributed across 12 small, scattered plots around Lefkimmi. The production focuses on rare, nearly extinct indigenous varieties: Kakotrygis (white), Skopelitiko (red), Petrokorithos. The cultivation follows sustainable practices. Pontiglio Kakotrygis Lianoroido is an orange wine from Kakotrygis, with mild skin extraction. Butiero 2021 is a red wine from Skopelitiko & Petrokorithos, with a deep color, floral cherry aromas, and rich tannins, aged for 12 months in barrels.
Tourism
Pontiglio Winery welcomes small groups of visitors with tours of the vineyards and winery. A Guided Vineyard Walking Tour (~30’) is offered before the tasting, along with tastings accompanied by local snacks, in a friendly and calm environment.
