Ktima Arvanitidi

Ktima Arvanitidi was established in 1999 by agronomist brothers Thanasis and Giorgos Arvanitidis in the semi-mountainous region of Askos, Thessaloniki, at an altitude of 500–550 meters. A balance of Greek and international varieties, with experiments in Nebbiolo and Barbera. Family atmosphere and boutique production with an emphasis on quality. Awards for Rosé Xinomavro and a positive market presence with value for money options.
Estate

Vineyards
The estate has approximately 70–80 stremmas of privately owned vineyards, cultivating Greek and international varieties. Greek: Malagousia, Assyrtiko, Xinomavro. International: Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah. There is also an experimental vineyard with Nebbiolo and Barbera since 2008. Production takes place in a family winery within the vineyards, surrounded by fruit trees and flowers. Aging cellar with oak barrels. Capacity: up to 50,000 bottles annually. The philosophy combines small-scale care with the application of modern technology. Wine Labels: Sorokos – blend 80% Chardonnay, 20% White Muscat. Chardonnay – fresh, fruity, with refreshing acidity. Chardonnay Oak – richer, with aromas of exotic fruits & smoke. Cabernet–Merlot (50/50) – red, aged 12 months in oak, with structure and soft tannins. Merlot Single Vineyard “Stavrodromi” – juicy, elegant, with nice balance. Rosé Xinomavro – pale pink, fresh.
Tourism
The winery is open to visitors daily (and on weekends by appointment). Visitors enjoy: Tours of the vineyards & facilities. Wine tasting, paired with local flavors. Hospitality in a lush environment that highlights the charm of Askos.
