Intro
Ktima Driopi is the second winery founded by Yiannis Tselepos, dedicated exclusively to the Agiorgitiko variety of Nemea.
Estate
Location & Establishment: Koutsi, Nemea • 2003 • Yiannis Tselepos
Vineyards
Vineyards & Cultivation: The terroir of the area is characterized by clay-limestone soils on semi-mountainous slopes, with excellent drainage. The vineyard cultivates selected clones of Agiorgitiko, with low yields (6–7 tons/stremma). Winery & Philosophy: Fermentations are carried out with controlled temperature and natural yeasts, while winemaking follows a long extraction. Aging takes place in French oak barrels for 12 months (70% new) and then for 6 months in the bottle. Iconic Labels: Driopi Classic, Ktima Driopi Reserve, Cava Driopi.
