Ktima Rouvali
Intro
Ktima Rouvali is located in the mountainous region of Aigialeia, with vineyards at altitudes reaching up to 1,100 meters, offering panoramic views of the Corinthian Gulf. It was founded in 1990 by oenologist Angelos Rouvalis, a graduate of Bordeaux, and became one of the first gravity-flow wineries in Greece — operating without pumps, following the natural flow of wine for maximum care and quality.
Estate
Founded in 1990 by oenologist Angelos Rouvalis. Its inclusion in the international CERVIM network recognizes the heroic nature of the vineyards on steep slopes. Ktima Rouvali is among the wineries awarded in international competitions, with two of its labels included in the Great Greek Wines 2025 list.
Vineyards
The vineyards are located at altitudes of 840–1100 meters, with poor, rocky soils and natural drainage. The varietal composition includes: Greek: Roditis, Tsigello (a version of Mavrodaphne), Assyrtiko, Kydonitsa, Lagorthi. International: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, Merlot, Viognier. Recognized Labels: Asprolithi (PDO Patras), Tsigello (PGI Aigialeia), Syracho (PGI Peloponnese), Fragosykia, Kydonitsa, Lagorthi, Single-vineyard Roditis and Chardonnay.
Tourism
Visitors enjoy vineyard tours with views of the Corinthian Gulf, presentations of the gravity-flow winemaking method, and tastings focusing on the expressiveness of the varieties and the authenticity of Aigialeia.
