Domaine Myrsini (Paros)
Intro
Domaine Myrsini is based in Marpissa, Paros, and is a new boutique winery with a distinct personal character.
Estate
It was established in 2020 by Nicolas and Marie Bourget, French nationals who settled on the island with a vision to highlight the local wine tradition.
Vineyards
The initial winemaking project began with the planting of approximately 1.4 hectares in 2020. Simultaneously, the estate leases old vineyards in the interior of Paros — some vines up to 150 years old. The varieties cultivated are: Local: Monemvasia, Mandilaria, Vaftra. Greek internationally recognized: Assyrtiko. Winemaking with indigenous yeasts, aging on the lees, bottling without filtration, and minimal use of sulfites.
Tourism
Visitors enjoy tastings that highlight local varieties and the winery's natural philosophy, in a space that exudes authenticity and Franco-Parian culture.
