Venetsanos Winery
Intro
Venetsanos Winery was established in 1949 in Megalochori, Santorini, as the island's first industrial winery. Built on the steep landscape of the caldera, it was designed to utilize gravity in the winemaking process through an innovative four-level construction. In 2015, it was renovated and reopened by the Zorzou family, evolving into a historic yet modern wine destination with impressive views of the Aegean.

Vineyards
It does not maintain its own vineyards but is located in the ideal terroir of Santorini, where the indigenous varieties Assyrtiko, Aidani, and Athiri dominate.

The winery now operates as a living wine museum, open for visits year-round.
