Estate
Ktima Zafeiraki is located in the P.G.I. Tyrnavos area in Thessaly, where the family has been cultivating vineyards for over 100 years. The current winemaker, Christos Zafeirakis (4th generation), returned in 2005 from studies and experience in Italy, planting the family's first organic vineyard and reviving the local Limniona variety.
Vineyards
The estate practices organic and biodynamic cultivation, with ecological practices that respect the environment. Special emphasis is placed on the revival of Limniona, which today is a trademark of the estate, as well as the promotion of Malagousia, which authentically reflects the terroir of the region. Whites: Propodes Chardonnay, Microcosmos Malagousia, Natura Malagousia, Logos Chardonnay. Rosé: Limniona Rosé. Reds: Limniona, Limniona Terra Cotta, Limniona New Age, Paleomilos Limniona–Syrah. Blends: Paleomilos Malagousia, Paleomilos Limniona–Syrah. Wines like Limniona 2020 and Microcosmos Malagousia 2022 have received top international ratings (95/100, Top 100 Best Buys).
Tourism
The winery spans 2,000 sq.m. with modern equipment, a cellar with oak barrels and amphorae for aging. The tasting room (250 sq.m.) accommodates up to 60 people, with visits conducted daily by appointment and accompanied by local meals.
