Ktima Taralas
Intro
Ktima Taralas is based in Fyteia, Imathia, with a family tradition in viticulture dating back to the late 19th century. Despite the challenges brought by the war, the family's love for wine never waned. The modern winemaking venture began in 2006, when Dimitris Taralas, along with his wife Aspasia and their children, Christos and Nikoleta, ushered in a new era in the family tradition by investing in modern infrastructure and organic viticulture.
Estate
Fyteia, Imathia, at the foothills of Vermio, is part of the historic Naoussa zone, where Xinomavro finds its most recognizable and timeless expression. Ktima Taralas has a strong export activity, with presence in markets such as Australia, the USA, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Cyprus, Finland, and Dubai (also through the export of vine leaves).
