Intro
In Naoussa, adjacent to the renowned PDO Xinomavro zone, the two brothers Thanasis and Socrates Maras, with the support of their father, founded Maras Winery in 2021. The planting of the first vineyard marked the beginning of a family dream that quickly became a reality.

Vineyards
The family invests in Xinomavro, the emblematic variety of Naoussa, highlighting the local character with careful cultivation and respect for the terroir. Additionally, other varieties are cultivated to offer more expressions in the wines. The winery began with a clear and modern collection of four wines: Naoussa Maras red wine – 100% Xinomavro, vintage 2021, with 13.3% alcohol. Merlot Maras red wine – 100% Merlot, vintage 2021, with 13.5% alcohol. Le Premier Pas (Rosé) – 100% Xinomavro, vintage 2023, with 12.5% alcohol. Blanc de Noir – white from Xinomavro, vintage 2023, with 13% alcohol.
