Intro
Markogianni Wineries are located in the Skilountia Plain, in the Municipality of Andritsaina–Krestena (Ilia, Peloponnese), next to the mythical Alfeios River. The family initiative began in 1982 and since 2001 has been practicing organic farming certified by DIO. The estate has managed to combine local tradition with modern winemaking trends.

Vineyards
Both indigenous and international varieties are cultivated: Indigenous: Roditis, Kolliniatiko, Mandilaria. International: Chardonnay, Vertzami, Refosco. The range includes numerous expressions: Typaion – Assyrtiko (2022, 2023). Acheron – from Kolliniatiko (2021, 2022). Diagon Cuvée Spéciale – VVT (2022). Vorias & Helios Orange – Roditis, Retsina, Assyrtiko (2022–2023). The Hare and the Tortoise Rosé Nature – blend of Refosco, Asproudes, Mavroudi, Roditis. Antilalos – Refosco (2022). Lykaion – Mandilaria (2020). Dalion – Mavrodaphne (2021). The Cricket and The Ant – unfiltered, with wild yeasts (<500 ml). Aged Tsipouro – 500 ml.

The winery is open to visitors, offering: Tours of the vineyards and production. Wine tasting in a friendly, family environment. Accompanying estate products. Its location makes it an ideal destination for combining wine tourism and culture, as it is a short distance from the Temple of Apollo Epicurius and Ancient Olympia.
