Thivaiki Gi Winery
Intro
The Thivaiki Gi Winery, owned by the Katrisiosis family, is located in Vagia, Thebes, on the slopes of Mount Sphinx, a few kilometers outside the city of Thebes.
Estate
Founded in 2004 with the aim of highlighting the local tradition and the unique terroir of Boeotia.
Vineyards
The family owns approximately 500 stremmas, of which 200 are vineyards. Greek varieties such as Mouhtaro, Malagouzia, and Savvatiano are cultivated, as well as international ones like Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Sauvignon Blanc. Production is based on a harmonious combination of traditional techniques and modern methods. The Katrisiosis Family series includes wines with a strong personality: Assyrtiko Katrisiosis Family (2022) – white dry from 100% Assyrtiko, PGI Central Greece. Mouhtaro Katrisiosis Family – red dry from 100% Mouhtaro, PGI Central Greece.
