Vaeni Naousa Estate
Intro
The VAENI Cooperative was founded in 1983 with the aim of supporting the winemakers of Naoussa through collective action. Today, it is the largest wine producer in the region, representing approximately 50% of the total production.
Estate
The winery was completed and began operations in 1984. It is located at the 22nd kilometer of the Veria–Edessa national road, in the area of Episkopi. VAENI wines have won more than 30 domestic and international awards. Its export activities cover over 30 countries.
Vineyards
The cooperative's philosophy focuses on highlighting Xinomavro. It offers a wide range of products: Naoussa PDO wines, PGI Macedonia, table wines, varietal wines, semi-sparkling wines, and even spirits like ouzo. Iconic labels include Naoussa PDO, Naoussa Reserve, Grande Reserve Naoussa, PGI Macedonia (varietal and semi-sparkling), Spirits (ouzo).
Tourism
The winery is fully equipped with winemaking, aging, bottling sections, and an analysis laboratory. Visitors can participate in tours and tastings through thematic programs such as the Macedonia Wine Adventure.
