Kourtesis Wine Estate

Intro

Kourtesis Wine Estate is located in the village of Ypsilo in southern Andros, just 10 minutes from Chora. The vineyards are developed on stone amphitheatrical slopes, approximately 100 meters above the sea, with unobstructed views. The area exudes traditional elegance, with renovated stone buildings, ancient olive trees, a well with crystal-clear water, and cool meltemi winds that offer a unique sense of hospitality.

Vineyards

Cultivation is carried out using gentle, organic practices, emphasizing local Cycladic varieties such as: Mavrotragano, Malagouzia, Assyrtiko, Mandilaria, Lefko Koumari, Potamisi. The revival of the vineyard was done with respect for the landscape, highlighting the craftsmanship and environmental consciousness that characterize Andros.

Tourism

Kourtesis Estate offers a multisensory experience: Wine Tour & Tasting: guided tours of the vineyards, olive trees, and well; wine tasting directly from the barrel in a traditional vaulted space. Experiential Activities: stomping red grapes in a press; making handmade soap with natural fragrances. Accommodation: the 'Palaio Patitiri' suite offers privacy, comfort, and views in a fully renovated stone building. Events & Weddings: the estate also serves as a reception venue, with natural elegance and an atmospheric setting. Visits by appointment.
