Vakakis Winery was established in 2011 with the aim of creating limited production wines of superior quality, emphasizing authenticity and the selection of exceptional raw materials. It operates in a small but fully functional space, certified under ISO 22000:2005 for the production of organic wines.

Vineyards
The vineyards of Domaine Vakakis cover 50 stremmas in northwestern Samos, at an altitude of 200–1000 meters. The climate is Mediterranean, and the schist, clay, and loamy soils, combined with the terraces, the Aegean microclimate, and the cool sea breezes, create a unique terroir. The average annual temperature is approximately 16°C, the average age of the vineyards is 20 years, and the harvest is conducted exclusively by hand. Cultivated varieties include Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains, Assyrtiko, Vidiano, Black Muscat à Petits Grains, Avgoustiatis, Fokiano, Mavrotragano. The annual production amounts to approximately 50,000 bottles.
Tourism
The winery offers organized tours of the vineyards, winery, museum, and tasting room. Visitors are welcome without a reservation, with tours available in English, daily from Monday to Sunday, 11:00–20:00. Currently, there is no access for people with disabilities.
