Gonidaki Estate
Intro
Gonidaki Estate is housed in a traditional and accessible winery on Kythnos. It is located in the southeastern part of the island, in the Loutra Dryopida area, 12 kilometers from the port of Kythnos. The primary goal of the estate is to highlight Greek varieties, with a strong emphasis on the rare, indigenous red variety of Kythnos called "Psarosyriko" or "Psarotheriko."

Vineyards
The Gonidaki family owns a linear vineyard with a total area of 150 stremmas, divided into two distinct plots (hills). The soils are of low fertility (a mixture of clay, sand, and silt). The vineyards are dry-farmed, situated at an altitude of 170 meters, and only 1,500 meters from the sea. The winemaking process includes cold extraction for 8 hours in stainless steel tanks and fermentation at a constant temperature of 16°C. The main varieties and labels include Psarosyriko, Assyrtiko, and Potamisio.
Tourism
Gonidaki Estate combines three alternative forms of tourism on the island: Wine tourism with tours of the production areas and tastings, agrotourism with accommodation in traditional houses and tasting of local products, and hiking tourism in the linear vineyards.
