Estate Chrisohoou is located in Strantza Naoussa, just 4 km from the town, on the southeastern slopes of Vermio, at the center of the PDO Xinomavro zone.
Estate
The family history begins in 1948, with the first bottlings by Ioannis Chrisohoou released in 1965. Later, the couple Keimi and Betty established the traditional winery, and today the new generation (Nana, Stathis, Yiannis, Katerina) continues with dynamic growth and an export orientation.
Vineyards
The vineyards focus on local varieties, including Priknadi (Preknadi), a rare indigenous variety. Among the estate's most recognizable labels are: Blanc du Noir (Xinomavro) – white vinification from a red variety, one of the first in the area. Priknadi (Preknadi) – a single-variety wine with 6 months of barrel aging, featuring aromas of vanilla, apricot, and pineapple, capturing the rare character of the variety. The annual production reaches 300,000 bottles, with 30% exported to international markets.
Tourism
Estate Chrisohoou is a landmark for wine tourism in Naoussa: Tours of the vineyards and winery. Tastings with presentations of the history and terroir. Visits to the museum space and cellar. It is often ranked among the top wine tourism experiences in Naoussa, combining wine, culture, and gastronomy.
