Ktima Karanika
Intro
Ktima Karanika was established in 2007 in the PDO Amyntaio of Florina by the winemaking couple Annette Van Kampen and Laurens Hartman. From the beginning, it focused on producing high-quality sparkling wines using the traditional champagne method (méthode traditionnelle). With a philosophy of minimal intervention and organic cultivation (though not yet officially certified), the estate highlights the unique terroir of Amyntaio and Xinomavro through refined versions with international recognition.

Vineyards
The vineyards extend over dry soils near the lakes of Florina, where the climate offers cool summers and significant day-night temperature variations. The main varieties are Xinomavro and Limniona, with the application of biodynamic elements and low yields for maximum quality.
Tourism
The winery is designed with a gravity-flow system, allowing the wine to move naturally without pumps, maintaining freshness and purity. The estate is open to visitors by appointment, offering a tour and tasting experience with a focus on premium sparkling wines.
