Ktima Kourtis

Intro

Ktima Kourtis is located in Rachi Pierias, at the foothills of Mount Olympus, just 14 km from Katerini and at an altitude of approximately 300 meters. Apostolos Kourtis began viticulture in 1997, and the winery has been operating since 2006, combining respect for local tradition with a new, creative spirit.

Vineyards

The estate spans approximately 60 stremmas, which were gradually planted from 2004 to 2009. Both Greek varieties (Xinomavro, Agiorgitiko, Assyrtiko, Vidiano) and international ones (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah) are cultivated. Experimentation and inventive blends are a hallmark of the production. A characteristic example is 'Nychta,' a unique blend of 90% Vidiano and 10% Assyrtiko.

Tourism

The winery is open to visitors and is among the unique wine tourism destinations in Pieria. Visitors can tour the vineyards and enjoy tastings in a family, homely setting, accompanied by local products (cheese, sausages, bread). Additionally, the estate is part of the Olympus Wine Tasting Tours, combining tours, meals, and wine experiences against the backdrop of Mount Olympus.
