Kelidis Winery is located in Central Macedonia, in Agios Antonios of the Municipality of Thermi, in the greater region of Thessaloniki. It is a modern family business born out of a passion for vineyards and quality wine. With deep roots in agricultural tradition, the Kelidis family has leveraged the unique characteristics of the area to create a boutique winery, focusing on producing wines with distinctive personality and high-quality standards.
Vineyards
The privately-owned vineyards are situated in the semi-mountainous zone of Agios Antonios, in a privileged location with undulating hilly terrain. The altitude and geographical position of the area ensure an exceptional microclimate, influenced by the cool winds of Mount Chortiatis and the sea breezes of the Thermaic Gulf. This climate allows for the slow and balanced ripening of the grapes, maintaining their freshness and acidity. Vineyard management is based on sustainability principles, and harvesting is done manually with strict grape selection. The estate cultivates selected Greek and international varieties, with a particular fondness for Malagousia, Assyrtiko, Xinomavro, as well as French varieties such as Merlot and Syrah. Indicative labels include Kelidis Malagousia, Kelidis Assyrtiko, Kelidis Rosé, and Kelidis Merlot / Syrah.
