Intro
In the heart of the PDO Naoussa zone, on the historic Paliochalia slope at an altitude of approximately 250 meters, Klonas Winery showcases the authentic expression of Xinomavro through a small but dynamic boutique venture.
Estate
The family tradition began in 1997 with chemist-oenologist Manolis Klados. Today, the second generation, led by Stelios Klados, continues with a new vision focused on exports and respect for the terroir.
Vineyards
The estate's philosophy is based on the indigenous varieties of Greece, with particular emphasis on Naoussa's Xinomavro. Whites: Vidiano, Muscat of Spina, Sauvignon Blanc, and the rare Preknadi. Reds: Xinomavro, Kotsifali, Liatiko. The region's terroir, with a continental microclimate and rich clay-limestone soils, favors wines of high structure and complexity.
Tourism
The winery offers an authentic and boutique experience: Tours of the vineyards and production areas. Guided tastings of 6–8 wines with food pairings. Storytelling experiences about the history of Xinomavro and the family. Visits are conducted year-round by appointment, emphasizing small groups and personal interaction.
